Kai is one of two of Kamiko's older sisters. She is by far a lot more easy going than their older sister, Kaminari. She has a youthful vitality, but at the age of 28, she is pushing 30. Kamiko attributes her to always wanting to hang out at the bar with her clients and not the best choice to take over the Kana teahouse. Kai only proved herself further as a party girl by showing off her breasts to a bar after Kamiko won her first match. Now, Kai sets her sights on someone that Kamiko likes too--Mark Allen. Kai crashes Kamiko's panel at an anime convention and passively aggressively upsets Kamiko, where Kamiko throws her out by embarassing her. For some reason, she is traveling with Kamiko in her tour, and Kamiko notes the reason is because at the end of the day--they are still family. At the end of one of Kamiko's matches against Griffin Hawkins, Jennifer attacks Kamiko, then Mark Allen comes out, followed by Kai. Kai forces Mark Allen to pick and he soon picks Kamiko. After the show and a couple days later, Kai was being driven awkwardly to the airport by Kamiko and Mark. Kamiko literally breaks down on the road in full blown tears, where Kai takes it upon herself to calm Kamiko down. She quiets Kamiko and let's her know of a damned truth--she never liked Mark Allen. She was only doing it to make Kamiko fight harder to get their father out of the shadows. Now, Kai goes back to Japan.

Kaminari is the eldest sibling of the Kana clan. She is described by Kamiko as stuffy and doting, just like their mother. To Kaminari, her world revolves around mother, and if yours doesn't either--there's something wrong with you. Kaminari is upset that Kamiko left Japan to look for their father, as she swears their mother is sick!

Mrs. Kana is the head of the Kana Okiya in the Gion District. What she says--goes, it's too bad Kai and Kamiko don't feel the same way. She has many younger geisha under her tutelage, but was depressed when Kamiko left for America to find their father. Mrs. Kana feigns illness in hopes that Kamiko will come home to Japan.

Kamiko first met Jennifer on her first day on the job. Jennifer took Kamiko under her wing and showed her around. They started to become backstage friends until Jennifer insinuated that she ALSO has a crush on Mark Allen. Kamiko feels like she can't really trust Jennifer for fear of her staking a claim on Mark Allen. To set the record straight, Kamiko approached Jennifer and asked her up front about Mark Allen. She rudely stated that it wasn't really any of Kamiko's business what she did with Mark Allen and that Kamiko's name wasn't written on him! The battle comes falling down after Kamiko Kana's match against Griffin Hawkins. Jennifer brutally attacks Kamiko. Mark Allen comes out to stop the nonsense, where Kai also comes out as well. Kai tells Mark to choose, where he then chooses Kamiko. However... to Jennifer, the battle is only starting. When Kamiko arrives at the San Antonio arena, she greets her in the locker room. Fishy as it is, Jennifer only states that she hopes Sarah Twilight wins. Kamiko fires back that Sarah doesn't give two licks about Jennifer. The battle is far from over...
